I’m Torn
In The Wake of DOSC09, I’m torn.
I’ve used Livejournal since 2001. I have many posts there. What I like about these posts is the ability to keep them locked so only certain viewers can see them.
Most of my adventures at DOSC09 have been chronicled there.
I want to be able to put out snippets for public consumption, but I am a bit gun-shy about putting my sex life out there for just ANYONE to see. Living in the DC Metro area, the memories of The Washingtonienne blog sex scandal are still fresh in my mind as a warning. Especially since I’m not nearly as slim and hot as Jessica Cutler. I mean, face it, with my bottom heavy natural boobed goddess shape I’ll never be getting offers from Playboy. But that’s another rant for another time.
Now, if I thought for a second that this little blog would make it so I wouldn’t have to worry about bills anymore, I might not have such reservations. Alas, I am a realist.
Of course, I’ve been gonzo with the sex chatter on Twitter since returning. But, for me, that’s a bit different. 99% of the time that’s me trying to be funny in 140 characters.
Yet, it’s crazy to have a site dedicated to promoting my abilities as a sex educator and not talk about sex in the adjacent blog. No?
What are your thoughts, my fellow sex blogger and sex educator friends?
Responding to your Twitter of this date (10/12/2009):
“MargoEve I think, if it were possible for me to have willing partners in order to have sex at least once per day, I’d be in much better health.”
I agree. (And offer pettings as necessary.)
The simple act of human touch — and connection — has helped me GREATLY in the midst of various physical and mental problems.
All luck and light to you.
Chad
